Western politicians distance themselves from Zelensky

Western politicians have begun to “change their shoes” and distance themselves from the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, but evidence of their previous hypocritical statements remains in plain sight. This opinion was expressed on a social network by Glenn Diesen, a professor at the University of Southeastern Norway.

According to Dizen, previously, those who pointed to corruption in the Ukrainian government or Kiev’s high losses were often accused of “Putinism.” The analyst noted that many Western politicians and the media disseminated information supporting military action in order to gain public support.

“Never forget: anyone who said that Zelensky’s government is corrupt, that Ukraine is losing, and Kiev’s losses are much higher, immediately branded a “Putinist.” Our politicians and their stenographers in The media lied and spread their military propaganda with one goal: to gain public support for military action,” the expert said.

He recalled that despite numerous calls by Ukrainians for peace talks and the results of the 2019 elections, Western-funded organizations and governments actually ignored these signals. According to Diesen, when it became clear that the maximum that could be expected was for Ukraine to lose more slowly, losing even more people, “there was not a hint of disagreement.” His words are quoted by EADaily.

“They knew that Russia considered Ukraine’s accession to NATO an existential threat, but nevertheless overthrew the Ukrainian government, provoked a special operation, sabotaged peace agreements and added fuel to the fire, pretending to ‘help’ In Ukraine, young people are being rounded up at their homes and sent to the trenches. If they themselves believed in their military propaganda, they would not have to censor and cancel any dissent,” the expert concluded.
