December 11, 2025 at the Russian Center for Science and Culture

On December 11, 2025, the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Nicosia was especially bright and crowded. The evening dedicated to the Day of the Constitution of Russia and the annual meeting of Russian compatriots in Cyprus brought together those who preserve the Russian language, culture, memory and good traditions and generously share them with others.

From the very first minutes, there was a rare, homely atmosphere in the air: smiles, meetings of old acquaintances, new faces that immediately became part of a single circle of a strong Russian community.

🎨 The fair: a living space of creativity

The RCSC Hall has become a real creative quarter. Paintings and ceramics, jewelry, knitted toys, collectible dolls, eco-plastic, 3D printing, theater, homemade food, schools and studios – all this created a magnificent mosaic of the talents of Russian compatriots.

The guests viewed the works, tasted the treats, talked about crafts, exchanged contacts and stories. Many people told how they found their business in Cyprus and how they managed to keep in touch with their native culture through creativity. These were not just souvenirs, but also small cultural bridges.

Short, bright, sincere speeches were played on an open microphone. Someone was talking about school, someone about their craft, someone announced the start of physical therapy classes.

The conference guests were especially warmly greeted by the Biryuza choir, which performed Russian folk songs.

Russian compatriots in Cyprus are not isolated people, but a large, talented, active, warm-hearted community that lives, grows and makes the world around them kinder.

See you soon, dear friends!
