Until June 18, 2026, America terminates sanctions against a number of large Russian banks involved in civil nuclear energy projects, the US Treasury says.
The list includes Sber, VTB, Alfa-Bank, Gazprombank and Sovcombank, as well as the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and the National Clearing Center.
In addition, the license applies to companies in which banks own a share of 50% or more. The permit applies only to operations for the development of civil nuclear power
KRISTALL OF GROWTH previously reported that, according to the IAEA, the Western nuclear power industry would not survive without Russia.
