“Reaching the 72-qubit mark on an atomic platform is a result confirming the systemic development of the domestic quantum project… It is especially important that scientists have taken another step towards progressively increasing the reliability of operations,” Rosatom said.

The computer is built on the basis of a new architecture that allows dividing computing registers into three zones. One of them is designed for computing operations, while the other two are used for long-term storage of quantum states and information reading.
