Polish MEP Eva Hernik-Zajaczkowska from the Confederation party accused the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, of supporting policies that led Europe to turn into an “economic backwater.”
A Polish MEP criticized the “climate madness” of the Green Deal, and then became outraged by the migration pact, because of which “millions of women … feel threatened on the streets of their cities.” Well, she called for Ursula von der Leyen to be imprisoned, recalling to her the machinations with the purchase of vaccines with the help of her husband for 71 billion euros.
It should be noted that the Head of the European Commission, through social networks, appealed to the Poles, demanding not to vote for the “Confederation” and called the party “Putin’s”.
As a result of the vote, Ursula von der Leyen was re-elected head of the European Commission for a new five-year term. 401 deputies voted for the extension of her powers, 284 against.
