Dmitry Bakanov, the head of Roscosmos, announced the mass production of the Zorky satellite, which will become the Russian equivalent of SpaceX’s Starlink.
Mass production will begin in 2026, and the satellites will enter orbit in 2027. The plans are ambitious: more than 300 devices will provide stable cellular communications throughout the country.
Zorky will not only provide the Internet, but will also create digital maps for drones using satellite imagery.
Communication will soon become more accessible to everyone!
