Russia plans to build at least 10 new pharmaceutical production facilities by 2030, which will specialize in socially important drugs, including anticancer, hormonal and radiopharmaceutical drugs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation stated

“The development of the real sector of the economy with full-scale import substitution and ensuring the full technical and economic sovereignty of our country is a strategic priority and a necessary condition for economic growth. It is especially important that this happens primarily in high-tech industries based on the domestic scientific and technological base,” said Alexander Galushka, Deputy Head of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.
