The Start up Blink Research Center has published the Business Environment Index for Innovators (EBAY) for 2026. Cyprus ranks 15th in the world and first in southern Europe.

A brief analysis of the study is provided by the CBN publication. The key achievements of Cyprus include the following assessments:

-Taxation: No. 1 in the EU and No. 10 in the world;

-Business incentives: No. 2 in the EU. Attractive tax and financial conditions are noted;

-Cypriot companies are among the top 25% of the world’s best firms in key indicators: the rates of corporate tax, capital gains tax, and dividend tax.

The IBEX index evaluates more than 125 countries across 30 parameters, focusing on ease of doing business, incentive, and global market perception.
