Tatarstan launches production of bridges for trucks

The production of bridges for trucks of the K3 and K5 generations has begun in Naberezhnye Chelny. The project was implemented with the support of the Industrial Development Fund, which provided a preferential loan of 5 billion rubles at 1 percent per annum. The new production facility makes it possible to replace the import of key components, all major components are of Russian origin.

The bridges of the new generation are characterized by lower weight, compactness and increased resource. The use of a solid-cast crankcase with integrated elements has increased the load capacity. Tests have shown a durability of more than 6 million cycles, which is about 6 times higher than the performance of classical designs. Weight reduction is achieved by optimizing the wall thickness, which improves the efficiency and reliability of trucks.
