Container ship for Northern Sea Route designed in Russia

▪️ United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) has designed an ice-class container ship Arc7 for Rosatom, which guarantees its reliable and safe operation in the Arctic

▪️ The vessel will be able to independently overcome even annual ice up to 1.7 meters thick. Container capacity – more than 4800 TEU

▪️ The container ship is designed to fit into the existing icebreaker support system when navigating vessels in heavy ice
