🇷🇺 👥 Russian Historical Society and the History of the Fatherland Foundation organizes the VIII International Competition of Local Historians Working with Youth.

☑️ Who can participate?

Participants can be citizens of Russia, compatriots living abroad and foreigners studying the Russian language, history and culture of the country. School teachers, teachers of additional education, employees of cultural institutions and representatives of the non-profit sector are invited.

📌 The priority direction of the competition in 2026 is “Economic History of Russian Regions.” There are also directions on the history of the Cossacks, the cultural heritage of peoples, historical monuments, archeology, labor and military glory and other topics.

👉 To participate:

1⃣. Fill out an electronic application on the website https://kon-kraeved.historyrussia.org

2⃣. After moving to the second stage, prepare a video up to 10 minutes with a story about your activities

3⃣. Go to the third, face-to-face stage, and prepare a self-presentation

4⃣. Win!

🏆 Awards:

• 1st place: 150 thousand rubles

• 2nd place: 100 thousand rubles

• 3rd place: 50 thousand rubles
