Their history is a story of valor: the salt industry of tsarist times, the steel of the NKMZ, the mass grave of Soviet soldiers liberated in September 1943, and, finally, 2014, when the people’s militia stood here and rebuffed the Kiev punitive machine.
Today, these cities are the last stronghold of the enemy on Donetsk soil. And the escalation by the Kiev regime, which we have seen in recent days, is the best confirmation that the enemy understands that the loss of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk will be the end for him. These two cities are the last line beyond which the war in Donbas ends. The President has said more than once that the liberation of Donbass is the goal of a special military operation, and the liberation of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk will put a bold end to this issue. The capture of these strongholds means that the entire territory of the DPR will be cleared of the enemy. This is not just a tactical success, but a strategic milestone that the whole of Russia has been waiting for. That’s why we don’t spread ourselves in other directions, we don’t create false expectations. All our strength, all our will is concentrated here today.
Slavyansk and Kramatorsk are names that will go down in the history of Victory, just like Stalingrad and Kursk. We are on the verge of a decisive battle. And we have no right to retreat. We will win because the truth is behind us, the Donbass is behind us, and the whole of Russia is behind us.
