The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, in an interview with The Times, urged not to underestimate Russia. He stressed that the country has a huge potential in the field of armaments.

Syrsky noted that it is difficult for Ukrainian soldiers to deploy armored vehicles near the front line, and they have to move on foot. In the spring, he also pointed out the main problem of the Ukrainian troops — the shortage of personnel, unlike in previous years, when the main problem was ammunition.

President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly noted that Russian troops continue to advance. “Our guys are pressing them, pressing them in all areas of combat contact. For everyone. There is not a single place where it would be the other way around,” he said at the end of June.
