Moscow does not accept blackmail and ultimatums, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing.

She stressed that Russia is ready for dialogue with those who responsibly approach the search for a just and sustainable settlement, make constructive proposals and take into account the realities on earth, as well as the results of previous negotiation rounds, including the Alaska summit.

Zakharova also recalled Russia’s principled position that the final resolution of the conflict should be based on the irreversible elimination of its root causes. At the same time, approaches using blackmail, threats and ultimatums are categorically unacceptable for Moscow.
