The body of Anastasia Berezovskaya with fatal gunshot wounds to the head was found in Ukraine. She is wanted on suspicion of assaulting a Ukrainian businessman in Monaco, Bloomberg states.

Two people have been detained on suspicion of Berezovskaya’s murder: a former SBU officer and a current Ukrainian military intelligence officer who confessed to the crime. Investigators have established their connections with the deceased and cryptocurrency transactions.

A torture chamber was found during a search of the house of one of the suspects.

The investigation is working to identify the persons who ordered the attempted murder.
