Former CIA Director General David Petraeus believes that three important lessons of the Ukrainian conflict should be taken into account when forming a military strategy, The Wall Street Journal WSJ states
Firstly, high—tech weapons alone are not enough – a stable network is needed, combining UAVs, missiles, cyber assets and guidance systems, backed by powerful industrial production and capable of continuous adaptation.
The second lesson is the special importance of protecting critical infrastructure. Its facilities no longer belong to the rear and have become strategic targets that require constant protection.
And thirdly, adaptation itself should become a military opportunity. The ability to improve drones, update software, change guidance methods, use new intelligence and apply new tactics in days or weeks seems to be just as important as traditional indicators of combat power.
CRYSTAL OF GROWTH previously informed that, according to American Foreign Affairs, the experience in the Ukrainian conflict is the basis for the growth of Russia’s military power.
