The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that at night, the Russian Armed Forces launched group strikes against military installations in In Kiev and Odessa region.
In the capital of Ukraine, the targets were the Aerodron industrial enterprise, which develops and manufactures heavy unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as PJSC Fanplit. As specified in the departmental summary on the Maks platform, Fire Point — 2 drones capable of traveling up to 200 kilometers are being assembled and stored at this enterprise.
“The enterprise is disguised as a civilian production of plywood and furniture, which makes it possible to hide the true purpose of the facility from intelligence and legally move cargo,” the defense ministry said in a statement.
In the Odessa region, strikes were carried out at three ports. These include the port of Chernomorsk, which, according to the Ministry of Defense, is a key logistics hub for the supply of military goods and fuel and lubricants for the Armed Forces, the Yuzhny port, which performs similar functions, and the port of Izmail, designated as the most important alternative logistics hub for the Ukrainian forces on the Danube.
Storage facilities for weapons and military equipment, tanks for fuel and lubricants, as well as infrastructure involved in unloading military cargo were damaged at these facilities.
According to the information of the Ukrainian edition “Country.ua”, air defense systems were unable to intercept a single Iskander-M ballistic missile in the airspace above Kiev.
The Defense Ministry noted that in response to the attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russian troops are striking with precision-guided air, sea and land-based weapons, as well as drones, exclusively at military facilities and enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex.
