Former Ukrainian Ambassador to Cyprus Serhiy Nezhinsky has made accusations against the country’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga, stating an order for his physical removal. The diplomat said this during parliamentary hearings in the Verkhovna Rada on corruption scandals in the ministry.

Following this, Nezhinsky’s wife began receiving threats from the previous head of the mission, Ruslan Nimchinsky, and Yaroslav Belozerov, an employee of the embassy’s Security Service. Shortly after these events, Nezhinsky was relieved of his post.
