Italian actress Ornella Muti and her daughter have applied for Russian citizenship. This was told by the actress’ daughter, singer Nike Rivelli.

“Many Italians love Russia, the people who live there, and the culture of this country. Italians who know history do not forget about its events <…> Even during the coronavirus pandemic, Russians have always supported us.”

According to Rivelli, she and her mother did not face criticism due to their frequent trips to Russia and plans to obtain Russian passports.
