The Ministry of Transport has submitted to the mayors of Greater Limassol a list of priority road projects with a total cost of €493 million. They were discussed at a meeting with the participation of Minister Alexis Vafiadis, heads of municipalities, representatives of the Department of Public Works and transport specialists.
Vafiadis outlined the scale of the problem back in May: about 10,000 new cars are registered in Limassol every year, so the road infrastructure cannot keep up with the growing number of cars and needs constant development.
