💬 During a warm and in-depth conversation, the parties noted the consistently positive dynamics of the Russian-Chinese comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction. The importance of the Treaty of Good-Neighborliness, Friendship, and Cooperation, the 25th anniversary of which is being celebrated by Moscow and Beijing this year, in building a solid foundation for bilateral ties was emphasised.

🤝 The heads of the two countries’ diplomatic missions particularly noted the high intensity of the political dialogue, with an emphasis on the implementation of the agreements reached during Russian President Vladimir Putin’s official visit to China in May and his meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The parties noted with satisfaction that the Russian and Chinese leaders have long-established a relationship of trust, which undoubtedly contributes to the strengthening of interstate ties.

🌐 Furthermore, the commitment to closely coordinating Russia and China’s efforts in the international arena, including at the UN 🇺🇳, BRICS 🌐, SCO, and other international fora, on a wide array of regional and global issues was stressed.

The parties also reaffirmed their commitment to continuing traditionally constructive contacts between the diplomatic missions of the two countries in Nicosia.
