In the Trans-Baikal Territory, the Abagaytuy solar power plant with a capacity of 120 MW has been put into operation — the largest such facility in Russia, equipped with more than 250 thousand domestically produced solar modules. The plant increases electricity generation by up to 25% compared to fixed panels, and its annual output will amount to 223.2 million kWh.
The launch of the station will allow the region to reduce its dependence on traditional generation and ensure reliable energy supply for consumers.
