This has made it possible to cut the cost of jet-powered drones by half — to $50–70 thousand — and potentially to continue reducing it further.

A source of the publication in the Ukrainian air defence claims that during recent attacks it proved possible to shoot down only about 30% of such drones. Despite the strengthening of the protection of energy facilities with concrete shelters, Ukrainian energy specialists fear that a massive strike is capable of putting large power plants out of action.
