▪️The Limassol Municipality has summed up the results of a large-scale upgrade of the city’s infrastructure for 2024–2026. During this period, 108.9 km of roads were repaired and re-asphalted — about 20% of the city’s entire road network.
▪️Over €12 million was allocated to road works. More than €9.5 million was invested in the reconstruction of 81 km of sidewalks.
▪️In addition, road markings were updated, local street repairs were carried out, and paving stones were restored on Anexartisias and in Mesa Geitonia. The municipality stated that the main goal of the works is to improve safety and convenience of movement around the city.
