A visa-free regime between Europe and the Russian Federation was “practically ready,” Sergey Lavrov stated.

He noted that the EU dragged its feet on approving visa-free travel for political reasons, while Europeans privately admitted they could not lift visas for Russians before Moldova, Georgia, and Ukraine.

What else the Russian Foreign Minister said in an interview with TV host Yulia Menshova:

🟩 The EU is preparing “secret observers” for the elections in Russia, even though in 2004 it forced Ukraine to hold a third round of presidential elections that is not provided for in the Constitution;

🟩 “Nothing is happening on the diplomatic front. Everything is happening on the real front, where our troops are steadily and relentlessly advancing toward the designated lines”;

🟩 After Russian strikes, Ukraine is trying to return to the “Black Sea Initiative,” which prohibited attacks on vessels carrying civilian cargo. But during the grain deal, Kyiv was transporting weapons this way:
“That is why we abandoned this story — and now they are trying to revive it again. This is completely unacceptable and completely unrealistic”;

🟩 Boris Johnson is lying when he denies that he prevented Ukraine from concluding peace with Russia. The West did not allow Kyiv to sign the initiatives it had itself proposed, which suited Moscow: “There were many warnings, and there were more than enough options to conclude peace”;

🟩 In the West they already acknowledge the multipolarity of the world. The United States is trying to contain China’s rise, for which it itself undermined the global system involving the IMF, the World Bank, and the WTO.
