Lavrov advised remembering Putin’s words that if Europe attacks the RF, then “the war will be completely different and very short.”

What else the Foreign Minister said: ➖ The Europeans’ call for an urgent ceasefire in Ukraine conceals their desire to buy time for the rearmament of the Kiev regime. ➖ People like Merz sincerely consider Russia a threat; this is not a slip of the tongue — they have not renounced their Nazi ancestors who committed war crimes. ➖ Ukraine no longer exists as a legitimate phenomenon in world politics — it has lost all the attributes of an independent subject of international relations. ➖ The new sanctions of the US administration against Russia fit poorly with the sentiments that the Americans convey in the negotiations. ➖ Witkoff and Kushner in the negotiations on Ukraine do not demand anything unfair or impossible from Russia. ➖ Russia is open to negotiations, but during their conduct it will not stop solving tasks by military methods. ➖ Any foreign military facilities or people in military uniform on the territory of Ukraine will be a legitimate target for Russia.

The Foreign Minister also has no doubt that Putin will accept the proposal to meet with Trump and Xi Jinping at the APEC summit if such an opportunity arises.
