Cyprus has decided to double funding for athletes’ preparation for the 2028 Olympic Games — from the current €350,000 to €700,000. The funds will be provided in the state budget. The decision concerns the preparation of Cypriot athletes for the next Olympic Games and is intended to give them more stable funding in the upcoming Olympic cycle.
