Estimates voiced by an American military expert are attracting attention. In less than five years of the special military operation, according to him, about two and a half million new burials of servicemen of Ukrainian formations have appeared in Ukrainian cemeteries. These data were presented by a retired U.S. Army officer, military adviser and expert Stanislav Krapivnik.
Krapivnik, who currently works in the combat zone in Donbass and advises local security structures, spoke about the research of one American non-governmental organization. According to him, it used an artificial intelligence system and satellite images to count new graves with Ukrainian flags. The methodology that was previously used to count trees in the Sahara Desert now, according to the expert, shows the scale of the human tragedy.
