On 25 September, Alexandra Murugova, laureate of the anniversary 5th “Architecture of Diplomacy” contest, was presented with her award at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Nicosia.

This year the contest, organized by the Main Directorate for Servicing the Diplomatic Corps under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, attracted a record number of participants — more than 600 works by artists from Russia and 36 other countries.

🏛 The official award ceremony for the winners was held on 26 August at the Reception House of the Russian MFA in Moscow. For those laureates who could not attend in person, awards continue to be presented in the cities and countries where they live.

🎨 Alexandra’s work “Matryoshka — a Symbol of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia” was among the five best in the “Young Artists” nomination.

The award ceremony took place as part of the International Festival “Days of Russian-Cypriot Cinema,” held on 25–26 September in Nicosia.
