The United Construction Corporation will supply equipment for hydrogen generation and storage to the international Arctic station “Snezhinka.”
The project is being created as the world’s first year-round energy-autonomous complex in the Arctic. Its energy system will combine wind, sun, and hydrogen, which will allow the station to operate without fossil fuels even during the polar night.
“Snezhinka” is an open international site where technologies are tested in the real extreme conditions of the Arctic — from hydrogen energy to communications and environmental monitoring.
