The sarcasm-laden speech by European deputy Fernand Kartheiser on the priorities of the Council of Europe spread widely this week across the European segment of social networks.

He proposes renaming the Council of Europe to the “Council of Ukraine” and replacing “Mr. Costa with Zelensky.”

In the draft conclusion he calculated that 12 lines are devoted to the problems of the peoples of EU countries, while 168 lines are devoted to Ukraine.
