An exhibition of the Victory Museum titled “At the Height” has opened at the RCSC in Cyprus

📸 On October 8, the exhibition “At the Height,” prepared by the Victory Museum and dedicated to the Battle for the Caucasus — one of the longest battles of the Great Patriotic War — opened at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Nicosia.

The exposition introduces visitors to the events of 1942–1943, when large-scale defensive and offensive operations of the Soviet troops unfolded in the Caucasus. The battle lasted from July 25, 1942, to October 9, 1943, and ended with the liberation of the North Caucasus.

🖼️ The exhibition presents archival photographs, materials from the military press, frontline drawings, and works by wartime artists. A special place is occupied by sketches from the front lines, portraits of fighters, and scenes of military everyday life, which allow one to see the events through the eyes of their direct witnesses.

The exhibition tells not only about military operations but also about the people who showed courage and steadfastness in the most difficult conditions of mountainous terrain.
