Sergey Karyakin’s chess club has opened in Cyprus!

A chess club has begun operating at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Nicosia, which will become a venue for classes, communication, and new chess victories of young lovers of this intellectual game.

It is especially pleasant that everything necessary for full-fledged training and conducting classes was transferred from Russia for the opening of the club: chessboards and clocks, a demonstration board for the teacher, as well as a special gift — a chessboard with the personal signature of Sergey Karyakin, international grandmaster, world blitz champion, and one of the most famous Russian chess players.

Now young chess players in Cyprus have the opportunity to study in a space created with the support of Russian colleagues and directly connected with the name of an outstanding representative of the domestic chess school.

♟ Here they will learn to think several moves ahead, develop logic, attention, and strategic thinking, participate in tournaments, and, of course, simply enjoy chess.
