This idea was supported by representatives of the “Alternative for Germany” and the founder of the left-wing “Sarah Wagenknecht Alliance.”

Wagenknecht notes that fuel prices are still “outrageous” and that Germany needs a deal with Russia.

“With the sanctions policy against Russia we are only harming ourselves,” she added.

Recall that Moscow and Washington agreed on supplies of Russian diesel to the world market.
