At the Sollers plant in Yelabuga, serial production of 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engines for Sollers SF1 commercial vehicles has begun. Production was organized on the enterprise’s existing assembly lines in just six months.

The four-cylinder engine develops a power of 136 hp and a torque of 175 Nm. It complies with the Euro-5 environmental standard, runs on AI-92 gasoline, and is equipped with a chain drive for the gas distribution mechanism. The warranty is 2 years or 200,000 km of mileage.

The new unit has supplemented the line of 2- and 2.7-liter diesel engines that have been produced in Yelabuga since 2023. In the future, the enterprise plans to master the casting and machining of the main engine parts, increasing the share of localized components. The possibility of installing the engine on other vehicles and supplying it to Russian automakers is also being considered.
