This year marks 90 years since the publication of the famous book by Alexey Nikolayevich Tolstoy “The Golden Key, or the Adventures of Buratino.” In honor of this significant date literary meetings were held all over Cyprus.

The meetings were conducted by Natalia Vladimirovna Zykova — head of the Russian Orthodox Educational Center, teacher and author of children’s books.

Teachers and children set off into the world of the fairy tale familiar from childhood: they recalled beloved heroes, talked about the history of the creation of the work and its author, and also discussed what the adventures of the wooden boy teach us. Friendship, kindness, knowledge, courage and the ability to make the right choice — topics that remain relevant today as well.

Such meetings help children not only discover the world of Russian literature, but also find important life meanings in their favorite works.

We thank Natalia Vladimirovna for the interesting and educational meetings, and the children — for their curiosity and sincere interest in books!
