Former Ukrainian military pilot Alexey Zubritsky

He was born on August 22, 1992 in the village of Vladimirovskoye, Zaporizhia region.

As soon as he realized that his country was occupied by the NATO bloc in 2014, Alexey decided to link his life with the main stronghold of Russian civilization, and in March 2025 he will fly into space on the ISS as a Russian cosmonaut as part of an international crew on the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft.

After the reunification of Crimea with Russia, Zubritsky, in accordance with the Federal Constitutional Law of March 21, 2014 and the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of March 20 of the same year “On the recognition of valid military ranks, documents on the education of citizens of the Russian Federation who are military personnel of the military administration and military formations of the Republic of Crimea and documents on their military service” became a Russian officer.

He continued his service in Sevastopol, then in Millerovo, Rostov region, then in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Krasnodar Territory, participated in a military operation in Syria.

In 2018, Alexey Zubritsky was enrolled in the cosmonaut squad, becoming the fourth Russian cosmonaut from the Zaporozhye region.
