On this day, 20 years ago, the world witnessed one of the most tragic events in history, when hostages were taken at School No. 1, and the lives of 334 people, including children, were claimed as a result of a terrorist act.

The event brought together Cypriots and Russian compatriots living in Cyprus. They came to honor the memory of the dead.
