Representatives of compatriots and graduates of Soviet and Russian universities in Cyprus handed over a second batch of humanitarian aid to the Kursk region. This was reported to TASS in Rossotrudnichestvo.

“The Russian humanitarian mission has received the second batch of humanitarian aid collected in the kind and hospitable land of Cyprus,” the agency noted. – Representative of the Association of Graduates of Russian and Soviet Universities Alexis Kuzales, Secretary of the Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots of Cyprus Vita Fedchenko and representatives of the Youth Club of Russian Compatriots of the Republic of Cyprus Alex Matsukis and David Sokolov handed over vital things to those in need.”

This action was the result, in particular, of the joint work of the Cyprus Association of Graduates of Soviet and Russian Universities and the Coordinating Council of Compatriots, the message says.

“At a time when many families in the Kursk region are experiencing difficulties, Cypriots and Russian compatriots living in the Republic of Cyprus, united by common faith and values, decided to lend a helping hand to those in need,” the ministry said. “All the collected items were carefully packed and sent to those who are waiting for our support.”
