In Nicosia, hooligans painted a school with “slogans” at night

At about 2:45 a.m. on September 3, in one of the schools in Nicosia, two young men in hoods entered the territory of the educational institution and painted slogans on the walls of the building. The police are treating this case as an act of vandalism.

Police officers who arrived at the scene noticed two suspicious persons leaving the fenced school grounds. During their detention, three containers of paint, paint rollers and three dozen eggs were found in their possession.

The detainees were 17-year-old and 18-year-old residents of Nicosia. During the inspection of the school, the police found that slogans were painted on the walls of the building.

The young men were taken to the police station, where they were questioned and then released, awaiting further summons to participate in the investigation. The case is under review by the Agios Dometios Police Station.
