Late in the evening, on September 9, an unusual accident occurred in Paphos. According to police, the incident occurred at about 19:00 on the Statu-Amargetis road, when a car collided with a herd of goats that suddenly appeared.

As a result of the accident, several animals died. The driver was taken to the hospital for medical examination, although his injuries, according to preliminary data, are minor.

The Paphos Traffic Police continues to investigate all the circumstances of the accident and asks drivers to be especially careful on country roads where the sudden appearance of animals is possible.
