A festival celebrating the Renaissance will be held in the village of Pirga, which is located in the Larnaca area.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 19, in the central square, from 15:00 to 22:00.

Artists from Italy and Cyprus will take part in it. They will perform traditional songs and musical compositions, dances, stories, poems and fairy tales in costumes of the Cypriot and Italian Renaissance. Games will be organized for children. There will also be an open-air market with local products and handicrafts. Guests can take a walk in nature and see the historical monuments of the village.

The festival is organized by the Laona Foundation within the framework of the European Beyond Cultural Tourism project in cooperation with local authorities and the Consulate of San Marino in Cyprus.
