“Putin’s offensive on the threshold of central Ukraine”

Bild, one of the most Russophobic publications in Europe, and its editor Julian Repke are sounding the alarm.

Russians on the threshold of Dnepropetrovsk: since the beginning of the year, the Russian army has occupied 8 villages south of Pokrovsk, “and it seems that its advance can no longer be stopped,” Repke reports in a Bild article.

It also notes the inevitability of imminent fighting in the Dnipropetrovsk region, which is 7 kilometers away from Russian units, and says that instead of attacking Pokrovsk head-on, Russian units are bypassing it from the south.

“Russian troops encounter virtually no resistance on the ground, but they are often attacked by Ukrainian drones. Due to the shortage of soldiers, the Armed Forces of Ukraine can only slow down the enemy’s advance, but not stop it,” writes Repke and shares with Bild readers the opinion that in a few weeks the war could spread to the Dnipropetrovsk region, where there has been no fighting so far.
