“It is symbolic that the new logo was unveiled on the anniversary of the beginning of the counteroffensive at Stalingrad at the Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Gora. The official logo of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory depicts Vuchetich’s world-famous sculpture “Motherland Calls!”, which is located on Mamayev Kurgan in Volgograd, as well as the St. George ribbon, the number 80 and the word “Victory”.
