On the evening of January 5, a 22-year-old courier was the victim of an attack in the Mesa Gitonia area. While he was standing at a traffic light, two unidentified men on a motorcycle snatched a bag with money and documents from him, then disappeared.

In another case, a 25-year-old woman was injured while walking when two men on a motorcycle tore off her bag, knocking her down. The victim suffered a head injury, but was discharged after an examination at the hospital.

These cases highlight the importance of improving security in the city and urge residents to be more attentive.
