Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov visited the command post of the North group of forces to assess the situation at the front. The meeting discussed the current situation, the provision of troops and the actions of the enemy.

“The combat work that we have done here now — we have ground up their best parts and the fact that progress has accelerated now.… In fact, they have disrupted the entire 2025 campaign,” Belousov said at the meeting.

The commander of the group, Colonel-General Alexander Lapin, reported on the fulfillment of combat missions and the use of aviation, artillery and drones. Belousov was also shown NATO weapons used by the enemy, including UAVs, communications equipment and small arms.

The Minister of Defense thanked the commanders for the high results of their combat work and presented awards to the servicemen who had shown bravery. At the training ground, Belousov checked the organization of training and also presented awards.
