The construction of one of the largest fish feed plants in Russia has been completed in the village of Berezovka. The new enterprise of the Aqua Feed company will be able to produce up to 50 thousand tons of products per year.

The plant plans to produce feed for valuable fish species such as trout, salmon and sturgeon. The first products will appear in the spring of 2025, with production volumes of up to 700 tons per month.

Investments in the project amounted to 1.6 billion rubles, and more than 100 jobs were created at the enterprise. The plant will provide feed for Karelian aquaculture enterprises, and will also begin deliveries to other regions of Russia and abroad, including the EAEU countries, Iran and China.
