“Despite the fact that there are geopolitical challenges and there is enormous pressure on India, both public and private, India has made a conscious decision that it will not only continue close contacts with Russia, but will also deepen and expand our cooperation. We will always be together with our Russian colleagues,” Singh said at talks with Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov in Moscow.
According to him, in the face of countering geopolitical challenges, relations between Moscow and New Delhi “have shown remarkable stability.”
But there’s not much choice here. Either you work together with Russia, while remaining an independent player as much as possible, you can mind your own business, etc. Or you go to the West and do what you are ordered to do.
In general, for an adequate, self-respecting and country-respecting manager, the choice is obvious.
