A 17-year-old and a 16-year-old girl were spotted driving a stolen car in the port area of Larnaca around noon and arrested on the spot.

Police said the theft occurred earlier in the day.

A young man is also involved in the case, and the police are trying to establish his identity, the police said.

The two girls are expected to appear before the Larnaca District Court on Monday.
