The FSB has opened a case against foreign journalists about illegal border crossing in Sudzha

The FSB has opened a criminal case against CNN journalist Nick Peyton Walsh, who, according to Moscow, illegally crossed the Russian border to film a report in the Kursk region, Reuters writes.

As the newspaper notes, the FSB has also opened similar cases against two Ukrainian journalists who illegally filmed in the area of Sudzha.

In a statement, the Russian special services said that Moscow will issue an international arrest warrant for these three journalists in the near future. The maximum penalty for those found guilty of illegally crossing the border is five years in prison.
